Organic Wild Rice
Wild rice is a black rice with a nutty flavour and chewy texture. It is more expensive than regular rice varieties, but is a great mixed in with different rices in dishes such as mushroom risotto.
Use 1 cup of rice to 3 cups of water and bring to a boil in a pot.
Reduce heat and simmer for about 45 - 60 minutes, or until tender.
