Organic Soy Mince (TVP)

Textured vegetable protein (TVP) is made from defatted soy flour.and is used as a vegan substitute for mince. It is full of protein and has virtually no fat. TVP itself is not particularly flavoursome, but it readilty absorbs flavour from cooking dishes, and is particularly good in recipes such as pasta bolognese, meatballs and shepherdless pie.

Rehydrate TVP in warm water or stock for 5 minutes or so until fluffy

Add to desired dish, and cook until hot through.
