Packaging
Dry products from our refill section are packaged in compostable brown bags — upon receipt, please transfer to an air tight container to ensure product longevity. Liquid refills are packaged in clean, repurposed glass bottles.
Description
Polenta is milled maize, usually of the yellow variety, and the grain size can be either coarse or fine. It is easy to cook and can be used in a variety of sweet or savoury dishes such as puddings or polenta fries. The polenta we stock is very fine and can be used in baking and as a thickener. Add one part polenta to four parts boiling water and stir for about 5 minutes.
Cook over a low heat for a further 20 – 25 minutes, stirring regularly until thick.
