Pumpkin seed oil has a nutty flavor. The oil has a green color and, like many other oils, is cold pressed so that the nutritional values are preserved. Pumpkin seed oil is healthy, is full of vitamins, minerals and is rich in vitamin E (antioxidant). Pumpkin seed oil should preferably be used cold and is delicious with salads, soup, as an ingredient for a dressing, with warm vegetables and potatoes. For the production of 1 liter of pumpkin seed oil, 2.5 kg of pumpkin seeds are required. The seeds contain about 45% oil.
