Organic Chickpeas Loose – TURKEY

Chickpeasare a familiar, versatile and delicious pulse, widely used particularly in Middle Eastern cooking. They keep their shape well when cooked and have a creamy texture and can be used for salads, soups and curries as well as in dips such as hummus. They are also good for sprouting.
Origin:
Soak in cold water for 8 hours or overnight.
Rinse thoroughly and bring to a boil in a pot with plenty of water (A ratio of about 1:3 is good)
Boil for about 50 minutes until tender.
Do not add salt to the cooking water as it can cause the skins to become tough.
